Ley Lines

Energy, a concept we have understood, we know how to harness it, and might think what else is there to it. But little do we know that we are currently on the path of discovering an ancient grid system connecting the different parts of Earth. A system which provides energy to us. First theorized by archaeologist Alfred Watkins in 1921, these energy lines crisscross around the globe like the latitude and longitude of our Earth. These crisscross points are characterized by pockets of high energy and are called as terminal points by Alfred Watkins. They are marked by monuments and natural landforms by our ancestors. The ley lines also pass-through waterways, naturally forming ridges, trade routes and migration pathways to form an Earth grid. There are energy vortexes, cracks, entrances and exits under the ocean, and even in some hidden cave cities or civilized societies or even under your house!!!

So, what are these magical lines? They are called ley lines, force lines or mana lines. They carry strong electromagnetic fields that can influence mood, perception and even memory.

Ancients believed these terminal points were places where cosmic energies meet the Earth, and they are so powerful that they performed various sacred rituals at these sites.

In 1969, the landforms caught the interest of John Michell, who then applied the principles of feng shui landform to the concept of ley lines as points of energy. He believed these lines traveled around the Earth and the terminal points created unique and unusual energy vortexes.

The ley lines system is similar to the human circulatory system and acupuncture points.

The word ley is related to ley, lee and lay. This magical sequence describes the cosmic roadway system where people travelled in ancient times.

· cleared hilltop notches (ley)

· cleared woodland (lay)

· cleared fields with landscape (lee)

Ley, means light illumination and Middle English lea meaning a meadow open to the sun drenched with light. This connection of the word ley with light is significant on several levels. Physically, the clearing of tracks through the forest, lights the way and marks the "ley of the land."

Ley lines and cosmic light are very closely related that originate outside of the Earth. They penetrate the Earth always maintaining a depth of 265 feet, relative to the Earth’s sand exits the Earth by again turning 90 degrees passing straight through the centre of the Earth and coming out the other side.

The average length of a ley line is twenty to thirty miles. The average width is 5-1/2 feet.

The E-line a few hundred meters wide is the main ley line. The two main dragons, male and female surround the Earth following a sinusoidal shape, crossing each other and the E-line twice.

The next well-known male and female dragons are the Michael-Mary and the Apollo-Athena.

Ernst Hartman, a doctor working at the Heidelberg university, discovered the Hartman grid. The results of his study between chronical diseases of his patients and the location of their beds showed that most of his patients with chronical disease were sleeping above geopathy (=disease resulting from earth radiation).

The intensity of the lines varies during the day- Stronger between twelve and two o'clock and weaker between five and seven A.M and P.M. Their impact has been measured at a height of five kilometre which is more like energetic walls and not just lines.

Curry, a meteorologist during his research showed that the lines become three to five times wider before earthquakes. This is probably what warn animals before natural catastrophes, so they can run away in time.

The curry grid named in his honour flows diagonally, northwest-southeast and southwest-northeast.

The crossing of two Hartman lines and one or two curry lines of same polarity, is called star crossing which is harmful.

Another important grid is the sacred grid radiating nourishing earth energy. Its lines flow north-south and east-west. Its crossings are ideal spots for meditation.

In the cathedral of Chartres in France, the spot where the priest gives his message to the crowd is a sacred crossing. He receives the energy through his body and transmits it to the people.

Similar crossing was found at the Temple of Salomon in Jerusalem in the centre of the holy of holiness room, where the arch of the covenant was located.

The mummification grid has the opposite drying and emptying energy of the sacred grid. The lines flow diagonally along the globe with distances between the lines similar to those of the sacred grid. In the pyramids of Giza and Sakara in Egypt, there is a mummification crossing right in the centre of each pyramid. These crossings are ideal to dry plants. It's better not to have one in your house, certainly not in sleeping rooms as it lowers the level of energy of the space.

So how do you find these energy lines?

Method 1 - This method was used by Alfred Watkins.

Materials needed: map, pen, pencil, ruler, pins, a notepad, your phone, a dowsing devise, a compass.

1. Mark the potential ancient sites in your area, like ancient wells, or giant rocks, or islands in lakes with pins.

2. Connect the areas identified, with the help of a pen on the map. If you find three or more sites arranged on a single line you may have discovered a ley-line. (Watkins considered only those lines having four points and bounded at each end with a hill or a mountain to be a ley-line.)

3. Explore the physical locations of the ley-lines you have drawn on the map.

4. Carry a dowsing device like a Y-shaped stick, metal rods or a pendulum anything that will allow for the free movement of the object held in the hands. Walk slowly around the area with your dowsing device. You will notice if you are on a ley-line that the dowsing device begins to move in a particular way - a pendulum rotating clockwise or a stick beginning to drag towards the ground.

When dowsing inside or outside, keep in mind that trees, power lines, metal, electrical devices, and underground piping can interfere with your readings. Compare your outside and inside readings, to verify an authentic ley line. Ley lines are straight lines. If the straight ley line runs through your property in the front of your home and the back of your home, then it should show up along the same straight line inside your home.

5. Determine the exact direction of the ley-line you have discovered with a compass to see if it lines up with any other ancient sites that you may visit, to further verify the ley-line.

Method 2

Leys lines are also said to pass by paths where the trees grow in twirls due to high energy. You usually can feel a surge of energy whenever you walk by or on one of these paths.

Method 3

Another way to find is with a combination of Google Earth and a plug-in created just for ley line exploration. Bethe Hagens on Vortex Maps provides the Google friendly downloadable UVG grid plug-in.

1. Download the UVG grid.

2. Log on to Google Earth.

3. Click New project on the lefthand side menu.

4. Click on Import KML file from computer (Choose the kmz; it will download).

5. Click on Present (full screen).

6. Explore the of ley lines on the Earth grid.

These ley lines are known to pass through the chakras of our mother Earth.

Can you believe it!!! 156 earth chakras or major energy centers in the world.12 major and 144 minor ones, located in large mountains and sacred sites.

Chakras are invisible, but they are the power source for the existence of physical reality by connecting the spiritual and material world through ether. These dynamic vortices of subtle energy are activated by the energy delivered by the Sun, Moon, and other planets. They can even connect Earth to other planets and interstellar energy centres.

The Earth chakras have four elements-

1. Fire

2. Air

3. Water

4. Earth

They are connected to the surface of the Earth and are in direct contact with the Sun (Fire), Air and Water.

Each individual chakra makes an unique contribution to the health and destiny of the world.

When these twelve major energy centres are in a state of vitality, it enhances the quality of life to a higher energy level. If wars, famines or any major tensions occur in these centres, the quality of life will diminish to a lower energy level.

The 12 major energy centers are

1.Glastonbury and Shaftesbury, UK

2. Red Rocks, Australia

3. Mount Fuji, Japan

4. Lake Titicaca, Peru

5. Mount Snowstar, the United States

6. Mount Kailash, China

7. Table Mountain, South Africa

8. The Great Pyramid, Egypt

Mount Sinai, Egypt

Mount of Olives, Israel

9. Rotopounamu Lake, the North Island of New Zealand

10. Bali, Indonesa

11. Haleakala Crater Volcano, Maui, Hawaii

12. Eltul and Palenque, Mexico

Starting from these 12, another 144 sites are being activated between 1989 and 2065. 72 of them are paired. For example, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin is paired with Sergiyev, Moscow.

The main Seven earth chakras and its functions. (Part of the 12 major energy centres)

Root Chakra: Mount Shasta, California

Mount Shasta embodies the beautiful process of grounding. The Native American tribes believe that this dormant volcano had healing powers, is at the center of the Universe and one of the first place created by “the Great Spirit”. When you are close enough, you can feel its spiritual nature.

The Root Chakra represents strength, stability, safety, and the root of the earth’s energy. It teaches us to build a steady foundation for ourselves while learning to let go into complete trust that all is working in harmony.

Sacral Chakra: Lake Titicaca, Peru – Bolivia Border

Lake Titicaca, once home to the Incas, is the biggest lake in South America which allows many to boat through its waters with minimal resistance. It's believed that this lake may have even been the birthplace of mythological royalty. The lake believed to be the womb of the planet, manifests both feminine and masculine energies as it falls directly on the crossing of the male and female serpent/great dragon ley lines.

This chakra represents sexuality, emotional balance, self-respect, self-expression, and creativity. We can use this knowledge to balance our sacred feminine and masculine energies to discover our true inner unity.

Solar Plexus Chakra: Uluru - Australia

Uluru- known as the spiritual heart of Australia is said to manifest energies that is re-energizing and help a person reach their higher self. The 600-million-year history of the dual world heritage site - Uluru and Kata Tjuta is carved and painted on its own rock faces. The local Anangu believe the artifacts are confirmation of the existence of ancestral beings and the original creation.

This chakra represents self-definition, purpose, personal power, health, and vitality. It teaches us to re-energize the body and to become empowered to manifest and create our destiny in coherence with the laws of nature and of the universe.

Heart Chakra: Stonehenge - Glastonbury and Shaftesbury

Stories from across traditions; from the tales of King Arthur and Avalon to Alfred the Great, the rumoured location of King Canute’s buried heart and the legends of Joseph of Arimathea after the resurrection of Jesus are associated with the two towns Glastonbury & Shaftesbury and surrounding notable monuments, including the mystical, and mysterious Stonehenge (where 14 ley lines cross). The heart meridian represents the qualities of love, compassion, giving and forgiving. It allows us to shift into an upward trajectory of the finer frequencies and elevated states of consciousness associated with the higher chakras by healing and empowering the heart.

Throat Chakra: Mount of Olives (Jerusalem), the Great Pyramid of Giza (Egypt) and Mount Sinai (Egypt)

The Great Pyramid of Giza was built with the lunar and solar alignments with the big dipper, the stars of Orion and summer/winter solstice, celestial mechanics, cycles of time, the divine feminine and masculine energies which corresponds to the harmony that exists in one's thought, mind, and speech. They contain hieroglyphs and sacred records that demonstrate elevated understandings of sacred geometry, astrology, and deep knowledge of the energetic matrix. The Great Pyramid of Giza, Mount Sinai (Egypt) and Mount of Olives (Jerusalem) form a perfect triangle when connected. Mount of Olives and Mount Sinai, are important sites mentioned in the Bible.

The throat chakra represents communication, self-expression, courage, and power to seek and speak your truth.

Third Eye Chakra: Currently located at the heart chakra, Stonehenge

This chakra is interesting because there is no fixed location for it. It is believed that at the dawn of each Aeon (every 2160-year shift, connected to the equinoxes) this earth chakra moves its resting point to aid in the rise of the new age being born. During this Aeon - age of Aquarius - which changes every 2,160 years - it's said to be sharing the location with the Heart chakra - center of love at Glastonbury and Shaftesbury. Previously during the Piscean Age, it was located at the solar plexus chakra, our power center, in Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

A celestial reminder that we must first see and become aware to shift from unmanaged power, ego and unbalanced masculine energy into the frequency of love and pure vibrations of the heart that flows with ease and grace. It is the rise of the divine feminine to bring us back to balance and harmony so we may heal and awaken the collective masses.

This chakra represents intuition, intelligence, and deep spiritual connection.

Crown Chakra: Mount Kailash

The Crown chakra is also known as the 'stairway to heaven' is one of the most revered peaks across the planet. This legendary mountain, deeply embedded in Asia’s mythical culture and soaring 6,638 meters high has a rich history woven with mystical tales and lessons of interconnectedness and enlightenment. Pilgrimages to this sacred site is to release the ego, ignorance, attachment and rise into higher states of consciousness.

The Himalayas hold their own powers and are associated with the traits of knowledge, wisdom, and universal consciousness, which are also the traits associated with the Crown chakra.

The balance of body, mind, emotions, and spirit is the path to consciousness taught by the myriad lessons hidden in the rich history and culture of this world.

Why and how can we use these mystical energies of these ley lines?

Living in a vibrational world, we are vibrational beings.

These energies have the ability to broadcast intentions, increase food production on your land and heal your body. Their potential is limitless. Getting outside and being around is the best way to connect to these energies. The longer you’re around them, the more easily you can tap into these energies. It all depends on intention and understanding of how these energies move in the biotic and abiotic components of our ecosystem.

Healings

Healers believe they can tap into the ley line energies and direct that massive energy to areas in the body of their patients that needs healing. These energies unblock, energize, and correct the malfunctioning body meridians. These electromagnetic energies have a significant influence on your emotions, perceptions, moods, and your memory.

Stones can absorb, amplify, direct or transmit energies. You can use crystals, especially quartz, to amplify and tap into the energies of the specific Chakras. You can meditate on the exact coordinates of a ley line while holding a crystal in your hands to tap right into its energies.

Defence Weapon

Negative energies when directed by an enemy in an attempt to harm an victim, the ley line energy can be used like a fire hose to spray against the attacker and the energy being directed at the victim. Once victorious, the victor turns off the nozzle and disengages the link.

Burial Site

According to ley line researcher and author David Cowan, these lines were once called faery paths. He discovered that funeral processions to the church cemetery were taken along these straight and circular paths. The dead were placed outside the lines to ensure any negative energy of the body would be neutralized.
